Sumario:The inability of developing countries to tackle pollution problems for economic reasons is a fact of life. In addition, due to the lack of knowledge in Nigeria about the environment, it is difficult to ascribe environmental changes to particular factors. Therefore, in viewing acidification caused by sulfur dioxide and oxides of nitrogen in Nigeria, the first problem is to identify the relationship between acidification and prevailing economic activities based on the experience of the developed world.
