Sodium laurate ,Potassium laurate, decanoic, dodeoanoic, and octadocanoic acids, evaluated the apparent molars volumes, established the extent of the solute-solvent interactions, examined the effect of the presence of some carboxylate head groups and carbon chain length on the specific volumes and provide data thermodynamic quantities such as enthalpy , entropy, and free energy changes associated with the viscous flow and the dissolution of the solutes.
